Material and free choice blog.
According to the quiz I took, it stated that non- fiction is my favourite genre when it comes to reading. It said that “ I like to read information that is that is based in reality” Which this is 100% true. I do like non- fiction stories/novels. I like it because it is very interesting to read and interpret facts. Also I read non fiction stories (based on a true story). I feel that you can lear life lessons and facts when you read non- fiction. I believe that fiction does not really help you at all it just widens your imagination.

One Day Blog By:Amaan Noor
My parents are very strict especially my mom.
If I get bad grade on a test or an assignment I usually get grounded. I think that my parents are really strict because every little bad thing I do, I get a consequence. I think that's not fair that my little brother gets less consequences then me. I think that my little brother gets away with everything. When the time comes when I become a parent I will be less strict. I won't always ground them always when they get a bad grade. I will be two times less strict then my parents.
If I was a parent the same thing i would do is give a very small consequence. Small consequences like grounded for one day or have to do extra chores.
But I won't be that less strict. Just like my parents I would give some consequences for every bad thing they do. I think that my parents think that this way of discipline Is right for me, although sometimes I get out of hand.

Two Things that we will remember In 2010
One thing that I will remember in 2010
Is the Haiti earthquake. The earthquake occurred
on January/12/2010. It was so sad that over 230,000
people died in the earthquake. It also Left thousands of people homeless in Haiti.I think that it was one of the saddest days In 2010.
Another thing that I will remember In 2010 is the World cup. I will always remember watching the world cup with my my family. I would remember watching all the games and see who would win, My favorite part was watching the playoffs and the championship. The best part was watching Spain winning.
Good Times I will always remember

Video Games By;Amaan Noor
I think that the mature video games should be available for 18 years and older. I think that the supreme court should not be able to sell the teenagers violent games. Every time before you buy a violent game they should ask for identification card [Id] just like before you buy alcohol and cigarettes at a store.
I think that really violent games that have intense violence, blood and foul language should be for the 18 years old and up. The mild violence, bloody, foul language games should be for the teens. Last but not least the no violent games should be for everyone.
I would draw the line by that you will be arrested if you possess
an overrated game if you are under the age of 18. It is the up to the parent to let there child play the overrated game or not. But they can also get in big trouble if it goes to far.
I think that violent games affect young people in general.
Once you play the game it is in your head the whole day. It also distracts you in school and it also makes violent sometimes. Once a 17 year boy from New Orleans played Grand Theft auto for 3 days straight and finished the game. The next day he took his dad's gun and start shooting at people just like in the game. He ended up killing 2 and wounded 3 people. Now he is in prison serving his time.

Questions about President Obama By; Amaan Noor
Questions about President Obama
If I were to ask President Obama a question I would ask him that " What are you doing to Stop the war in Afghanistan.
I would ask this question because we are spending billions of dollars on the war when we could be spending on other things . We could be spending on education, transportation and many things. Another reason i would ask this question is that there are thousands of American dead and wounded. Also many civilians and local residents in Afghanistan are dying from this war. If there was war in Afganistan this world would be a better place to live.
If I were president America would change. I would give a tax cut to all families and spend more on education. But most of all I would stop the war. I would try to sign a peace treaty or a cease fire. I would do any thing to stop the war. If i were president I would help 3rd world countries form there economy. If I were president this world and especially the U.S would be a happier and peaceful place to live.

Cyberbullying By; Amaan Noor
Cyberbullying By; Amaan Noor
I think that Cyberbullying should be handled really seriously and strictly. I think that the kids that are doing cyberbullying should be immediately suspended and possibly expelled. They should also charge the child or teen fully extent in the court of law depending on age. The family of the victim that is bullied should also file a lawsuit against the other childs or teens parents.
Parents should also be held for responsibility if there child is cybebullying. There parents should also pay a fine to the victims parents. I think that the environment is also the blame for it.
It also depends if you live in a high crime rate area or a low crime rate area.
Cyberbullying could be prevented in many ways. One way is that there could be counseling to keep teens in the right track. Another way is that there could be 24 hour anonymous tip line so that the child or teen does not take matter in there own hands. There can also be a service that blocks texting during schools hours and a website that shows what the text messages said and when were they sent and received only viewed by parents. Here are the facts that cyberbullying could be prevented, who should face the consequences and what should be done.THANK YOU for reading my article

World Hunger By:Amaan Noor
World Hunger By: Amaan Noor
World Hunger is a major global problem. There are 925,000,000 people hungry in the world. Only 85% are in the continent of Africa. Countries like Somalia,Zimbabwe,Kenya,Sudan , India and many more other countries are one the poverty line of hunger.Every second a person dies of hunger related problems.
There are many charity groups that help world hunger end such as American Red Cross, United Nations,UNICEF and many more. There are local food banks that help too. United Nations delivers more then 30,000,000 meals per year. Last year 40,000,000 Americans Donated to hunger charities. The Salvation Army also collected 10,000,000 dollars for the hungry. Also the U.S government and the military also helps World Hunger.
To end World Hunger I think that the U.S and other Advanced countries should have a law that to donate certain amount of money based on income to charities. The money could be sent to the government and they will use that money to try to End world hunger. If every american donates 5 dollars every month to hunger charties that will be around 1.7 billion dollars donated per month. With the help of the world we can END WORLD HUNGER.
THANK YOU for reading my article.
